Message :the car. What was your trap on your 13.0 run?

My trap was 107.4 mph. I think I rev out my gears too long and I'd pick up a couple of mph if I shifted sooner. I've been shifting around 7000 rpm because it feels right, but I know that the feeling can be deceiving and I should trust the numbers (which say to shift at 6something)

:I've seen a "stage 2" 350Z run 101ish in the 1320'. The SC'd 350Z runs 116 - ouch!

Yeah, sounds like the SC'ed 350Z would lay a whipping on me, lol

:And, BTW, I wasn't trying to argue your points, I know from our previous discussions, whether in agreement or in argument, that you are an educated person, and not just someone who picks arguments.

Thanks, I feel the same way about you. You know me, I just like to get to the bottom of the issues, even if it means having a point/counterpoint discussion in detail. As long as everyone understands that the discussion is all for the sake of increasing our knowledge and not for arguing, a lot can be learned by covering all the bases.

:I objectively agree with your points. My overall point was that the cars are CLOSE ENOUGH that driver/car/conditions are important.

Yeah, I agree that the driver is the single biggest factor.

:I'd rather a G35 myself, with a hidden SC'r. "Run watcha brung", but don't underestimate my G35, if you give me an inch, I'll take the 1/4 mile. ;)

lol, I wouldn't mind having a G35 myself.
